To this end, we are committed every day to a broad range of activities with diverse tasks and opportunities for creativity. We are a strong team with a friendly working atmosphere, and together we keep KIT’s infrastructure running smoothly.

We can handle just about anything!

  • Four sites around Karlsruhe, comprising over 450 buildings and with an electricity requirement of 130,000 MWh
  • Around 440 staff work in Technical Infrastructure
  • We manage 800 building services systems and coordinate 25,000 maintenance orders annually
  • The building maintenance budget for KIT Campus North and South amounts to €20.2 million
  • We plan, organise and manage 40 conferences and symposia annually
